The Crafty Lumberjacks AKA Dennis and Andrew had no idea when they met on a traveling production of Fiddler on the Roof that they would fall in love or find themselves teaching crafts on shows like Rachel Ray and The Chew. Good thing they like wearing plaid because this adorable pair of DIY experts keep on gaining in popularity with their HGTV Handmade series and blog. I can’t wait for you to hear my chat with these cuties about what it’s like to work with your partner, how they shoot their amazing DIY videos with a cell phone and which holiday they loved crafting for more – Halloween or Christmas.
Check out episode #5 of the Creative Queso Podcast with my guest Andrew Boza and Dennis Setteducati AKA The Crafty Lumberjacks.
The Crafty Lumberjacks
Actors at heart (they would search out the local craft stores while on tour) The Crafty Lumberjacks are the yin to each others yang. Working with a business partner can be tricky so they share their strengths, weaknesses and how they delegate the crafty responsibilities between them. An episode every creative business owner with a partner will want to listen to.
Raised by crafty parents and sometimes struggling to figure out the rhythm of working from home and ya know just when you thought they were regular guys they go into doing live television with Kelly and Ryan. Actually, these guys are the sweetest. We bonded over our mutual love of excessive holiday decor and the rest is podcast history!
Sometimes the career you were meant to have shows up in mysterious ways. Like on a tour bus in the case of Andrew and Dennis. I love our woowoo conversation about how sometimes what you think you are looking for might already be right in front of you in a different shape, form or astro turf covered way. Always be open is the moral of the podcast story.
