Ann Shen Author of Bad Girls Throughout History – Creative Queso Episode #17

When I got the chance to talk with Ann Shen illustrator and author of the infamous Bad Girls Throughout History and Legendary Ladies series – I knew we were going to talk woo woo.  Her new guided prompt book How to Be Legendary: A Goddess Journal For Finding Your Power is full of not only gorgeous images it talks you through everything from moon phases to manifesting. In this episode we don’t just talk tarot we also cover her creative career and some of her impressive accolades like an artists residency with Disney at their Wonderground Gallery.

I’ve never met Ann in person, but after spending an hour chatting with her I wish we were next door neighbors so our husband’s could hang out and make fun of us while we charged our crystals together.

Such a fun conversation!  Not just books, Ann has a ton of products on her website and via Chronicle books including…

All this and she just finished an artists residency for Disney!  Talk about living the illustrators dream life.

Ann Shen is an intelligent feminist and this comes through in her work and this interview.  When she is not researching bad girls and ancient empowered women she has created work for companies like Evite, The New York Times, Facebook and a long list of others.  Did she manifest all these things?  You will have to listen in to find out.

In the meantime I highly suggest you follow her on all the places…
